A Typical Homeschooling Day?

Have you ever wondered what a typical day in a homeschooling family is like? The simple answer is, there is no such thing as a typical day. We work our lessons into everything we do, even when we have to bounce between errands and other responsibilities. For example, today I have to go pay bills, have an appointment at 3pm, clean, make dinner, teach, and still find time to work on my own work. On another day we may have nothing but lessons and cleaning on the schedule. The only consistent thing in a homeschooling day is that we always work learning into everything.

On a day when we have a lot going on, I try to get the kids on their work early so that when we have to take a break to do other things we don't have too much of a disruption. If that's not possible to start early, I have them bring their Chromebooks with them to work on lessons while we are in between other responsibilities.
