As an immunocompromised, single, homeschooling mother living on a limited income has not been easy. I have to constantly think about how much everything will affect our budget, the various precautions we have to take when out and about, and what lessons my children are learning every day to help them in their future lives. I constantly worry. I try to always give my children the best example of how to handle things that are within their control. I do little things to always teach them how to better themselves as well as strive to make a better life for us. I won’t lie. We have struggled as a family but I truly believe that it will always be worth it when my children grow to be happy, healthy, compassionate, loving, and productive people who always strive to do their best.
